Francois Campeau earned a B.A. in Administration from Montreal’s École des Hautes Études Commerciales and an M.A. in Management Sciences and Finance from the University of Sherbrooke. François is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter-holder.

Francois worked for 18 years for Trilogy Global Advisors, a global asset manager based in New York. He was one of the three global portfolio managers in charge of a strategy with more than $8 billion USD of assets under management. Francois was also a member of the asset allocation and global risk committees.

Francois joined Giverny Capital in October 2018 as a portfolio manager.
